RetroMusicRadio™ was an American weeky independent morning radio show produced in Los Angeles, California U.S.A. and hosted by DJ Erick Jones and singer-songwriter Tim Battig. It mixed Classic Rock, 80s, and Alternative music, New Music Spotlights featuring local bands, celebrity guest interviews, concert broadcasts, music news, and more.
The half-hour program aired from 1999 to 2001 on American Radio Network's Kaleidoscope Radio Magazine via KCLA 99.3 FM in Los Angeles and on WebRadio.com. In 2002, the series was expanded to one and 3-hour formats and streamed on its own RetroMusicNetwork channel via Live365.com.
Over 120 broadcasts were produced out of Erick and Tim's shared Los Angeles apartment. Additional co-hosts included comedienne Brandy Nightingale, radio personality Amy Jacobson, singer Leslie Robinson, and The Waterboy.
Musical and celebrity guests included actress Erin Cahill from Fox Kids' Power Rangers: Time Force TV series, Leah McCormick, singer-songwriter Jillian Speer, Jennifer Perryman, David Lichens of Revolver, Michelle Cerise of Red Fish Blue Fish, Patty Medina, Ballyrag, Particle, Latin Rock singer Ana Sidel, Ana Robles, Emaue, and Burning Star.
